Event Planner’s Survival Bin

I used to have a survival backpack. It’s no longer big enough, so I keep a bin in my car with the following:

• Backpack
• Smartphone with Bluetooth earpiece, charger, and external battery.
• Gaff, duct, electrical, masking and scotch tape
• Zip ties (various sizes)
• Bungee cords (various sizes)
• Sharpies, pens, and highlighter
• Clipboard with paper
• Sunglasses
• Bottled water
• Protein bar
• Mini-toolkit including measuring tape
• $100 in singles and $10 in quarters
• Crank flashlight (doesn’t require batteries)
• Extra socks
• Hat and gloves (appropriate for season)
• Work gloves
• Ear plugs
• Rubber bands, paper clips, and binder clips
• Short extension cord and power strip
• Post-it notes
• Mini-travel kit (various toiletries including sewing kit)
• Sunscreen
• Chap stick
• Hand moisturizer
• Hand sanitizer
• Mini-first aid (aspirin, bandages, cough drops, etc.)
• Baby wipes
• Climber clips
• Business cards
• Rain jacket/poncho
• USB memory stick (definitely old school, but comes in handy)
• Towel
• Breath mints
