DiaZam to the Rescue

I founded Bunbury in 2012. The event takes place in downtown Cincinnati along the Ohio River. One of the stages – sponsored by the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) – sits at the bottom of the Serpentine Wall. It’s a great location for a stage because people watching the bands can see the river, the boats going by, and the Newport skyline…except when it floods.

In 2013, the second year of Bunbury, the river crested a few days before the festival and never subsided. I always had a ‘Plan B’ in case of flooding, but it took hours to create a second event diagram in Illustrator. It was this kind of situation that prompted me to develop DiaZam with my business partner Olivier Fischer. It paid off in 2017.

A week before Bunbury, the river crept over the flood wall and wouldn’t leave in time for us to build the stage. Time for Plan B, but many things had changed with the layout since 2013. I would have to create a new layout to accommodate CVG’s stage. I opened DiaZam and within 20 minutes I had finished the new layout. That was really satisfying. What took hours in 2013 took minutes in 2017.

So what are you waiting for? Give DiaZam a try. I think you’ll find it will save you time, money, and your rear end when you need a diagram – SHAZAM – fast!
